Mr. Seizo Katsui, CEO of Plantec received “Minister of the Environment Award”
Mr. Katsui, CEO and President of Plantec, received the “Minister of the Environment Award 2016 for Contributors to Establishing a Sound Material-Cycle Society” at “the 60th Life and Environment Competition” (organized by: Japan Environmental Sanitation Center, supported by: Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Kanagawa Prefecture, and Kawasaki City ).

He was awarded by Mr. Masaaki Kobayashi, the Vice-Minister of the Environment, at the competition ceremony honored for his great contribution to the development of waste treatment technology and improvement of public health through research and development of stoker type incinerators.

“The Life and Environment Competition” is a competition where administrative officers, experts from the industries, and the citizens concerned with the environment, waste disposal, and recycling promote public awareness of the environmental conservation and exchange information.

This year, the competition was held with its main topic of “Environment and Health” at the Kawasaki City Industrial Promotion Hall and Solid Square in Kanagawa Prefecture from October 26th to 28th, and Plantec showcased their products and technology in the exhibition co-held.
